Josef Smolen is Professor Emeritus at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria. Josef Smolen received his MD degree from the University of Vienna, trained there in Immunology, Medicine and Rheumatology. Research fellow at the Arthritis Institute at the National Institute of Health, Bethesda, MD (Maryland) USA. 1989-2017 he was Chairman of 2nd. Department of Medicine at Hietzing Hospital. 1995-2018 Professor of Medicine and Chairman of the Division of Rheumatology at the Medical University of Vienna, where he also acted as Chairman of the Department of Medicine 3 from 2007-2018.
Specialist in rheumatology and senior physician at the Division of Rheumatology and Research, Diakonhjemmet Hospital in Oslo.
She has a long-standing interest in immunology, biologic medicines and immunogenicity. Guro Løvik Goll was clinical coordinator for Rheumatology in the NOR-SWITCH and NOR-DRUM studies, and currently leads the Nor-vaC study.
